NYC 3rd day March 8th

1st big day for the art fairs and museums in NYC!! 1st stop was at ADAA fair cuz I wanted to see Billy Childish works and a galery had 3 of his paitings... I just with I could run away with one or buy it....
Saw lots of great art among Al Hansen, Andy Warhol, Joseph Cornell, Calder, etc...

After it we went to Volta fair, met some friends of my friend and saw great modern art. then Pier 93 and 94 for Contemporany and Modern art... walked and walked and walked seeing great arts and paintings, and installations and everything...

Then Candle Cafe, a very nice and VEGAN place that you dont say it is vegan!. amazing food.

Then saw this band called Such as us which the vocal is friend of my friend

Went back home to get ready for a nice night of ipods on Le poisson rouge. stayed a lil hung out with the friends of my friend and went back home to sleep.

NYC 2nd day March 7th

Woke up with songs I used to listen to... had breakfast at home took a bus on beside Central Park and went to the 5th Avenue. 1st stop was Plaza hotel, walked a few halls looking for Eloise painting, hear her story and about the book.

After it we went to Tiffany Store and saw all the floors and the guy who was on the elevator joked with us and about a engagement ring. On the ground floor there he was ans started talking again. This is how NYC is... sundelly someone stops you and talks from nowhere... and again engagment ring talking and he has Brazilian friends and to come back to Tiffany and not be a stranger and say hi to him, It was fun.

After it Rockefeller Center and a nice visit to the Metropolitan Museum store which I need to come back and maybe buy a replica of a Egyptian ring that I fall in love... sigh
Also near buy was St Patrick's church. we sat a lil inside in front of Guadalupe image and a bought a rosario to a friend who asked me.
then B&H store which is quite impressive how organized they are.
Had manicures done and we went back to Times Square at night to have a like walk.

getting tired but so much fun too!

A very nice sightseeing in Chinatown and Little Italy since we were very close then got a cab to get the Staten Island ferry and rode the ferry and had a great and FREE view of the statue of Liberty!. went out in the Staten Island. walked a little and got back the ferry back to Manhattan. Then a walk till Wall Street, Trinity church with a nice graveyard besides.
Then went to my friends of friends office to get some important VIP tickets that would let us get in all art fairs and museums of Armory Show for free.

Then a went down to the Village to have dinner at a macrobiotic place called Souen, had a nice vegetable noodles and a vegan cheesecake!.

Another loss last week. This friend also deserves a post here and here it is.
Carol Satie, a fucking fashion designer friend and also my fake cousin who I adore.
She is adorable, She is short, She is cute, She is funny, She is passionate for life.
She makes amazing clothes. She makes amazing shoes. She has little balls tattooed on her arms.
She loves regional music. She plays some music. She has an amazing family. She has the babies of my dog.
She has a lovely nephew and niece. She will draw my wedding dress.
She is far now…London stole another friend of mine. But this is another excuse to go there and see them.
Carol I wish you all the best …and I hope you can be surrounded by many Portuguese and Spanish guys (hihihi) I know you adore them.
I love you from the bottom of my heart. I hope I can read many and many funny emails like you sent some days ago. I’m here cheering for you.

Of Montreal - So begins our alabee

And so begins begins our odyssey
And we begin begin our odyssey
And so begins begins our odyssey

The auria is bleeding and the boyish voice is leaving
I've been an evil tenor I filled the innocents doe eyes with glue
You're my only softness you're my only pleasure it's true
And I never want to be your little friend the abject failure

And so begins begins our odyssey
And we begin begin our odyssey
And so begins begins our odyssey

The chrysalis is breaking and the super ego's waking
I've been a gloomy Petrarch with a quill as weepy as Dido
You're my mousy aesthete you're my bouyant cherub it's true
And I never want to be your little friend the abject failure
